Reminder: Enrolment for the master's seminar "AI for your own scientific work" until 09.09.2025
In our master's seminar on the use of generative AI in the research process in the coming winter semester, we will look at how these tools - especially large language models such as ChatGPT or Claude - are changing research and how they can be used in a targeted and reflective way.
We will start with an introduction to Large Language Models and then interactively replicate an existing study using these tools. Afterwards, students will work in small groups on their own empirical research projects (especially with secondary data): from literature review to formulating a research question to analysing data (e.g. with R, Python or STATA), which is the focus of the seminar.
Please note the registration deadline via Studilöwe until 09.09.2025! Participation is limited to 24 students.
Creditability for other modules is currently being clarified and will be communicated shortly.
