Jana Schmutzler studied business administration at the Friedrich-Schiller- Universität Jena and graduated in 2002 achieving the German degree of business administration. In the years 2002 - 2012 she worked as business consultant in Germany, the USA, Mexico and Columbia. Since 2012 she is external doctoral student at the chair of Industrial Organization and Innovation.
